worth. sorry to put it here but nobody is looking at it over on ammo forum

It is a 30 cal 240rd ammo can that is marked :240 CARTRIDGES,
CAL.30 T291,
IN 8RD CLIPS,
LOT FA 34 :
It has MATCH writing vertical on each side of the can.
The can has 172rds left of new looking ammo in 8rd clips with cardboard covers on them. I got this from an estate of a old gunsmith. Anybody no how much I should as for this match ammo on 8rd clips
Took a round off a clip the head stamp is MATCH FA 58 so the ammo is NC right

I have been paying anywhere from $12-14 for a box of 20, and figure the clips at .33 each.

If it is actually Match ammo, the word "Match" will appear in the headstamp. BTW, the ammo is certainly corrosive. Go to the forums at [url]www.jouster.com[/url]. Some collector will probably buy it.

IIRC, switchover to NC .30-'06 was early/mid 50's. Double check me to be sure.
