4 round intervals? The only linked ammo I've seen is 'normal' links. heh. I usually get the ammo out of the links by pulling on the bullet and twisting it side to side. It only takes a few seconds and you'll get the hang of it. Most of the time just pull and twist one way.

I helped a guy delink 2 ammo cans of Malaysian .308 (I bet that is what you have, the tracers have been removed). It was a major pain in the ass and I got a blister as a bonus.
