I don't have that much time to get to the range so I was wondering how good are the airsoft guns in praticing marksmenship?

I can shoot them in the backyard without worrying about the neighbors (they would not look kindly on actual BB guns).

I am looking at a lifesize M16 M177 spring action airsoft rifle.

Airsoft uses 6mm plastic balls.  Do not worry about too much.  Most airsoft rifles loses a lot of energy when shooting over 30 yrds. They are great tools to do a lot pratice.
