As a non-geek, I will stumble through...I'm sure its worth it. As a mechanic, it took a while to get used to hitting "start" to shut down, try that on any other machine!

I really like what Goat's done with the site. It takes a lot of time and enthusiasm to keep this large of a site updated and running smooth.
Flame away if you like, but if all you can do is cry and whine, join HCI and go to their website! |

95% of the issues I have seen all stem from the SAME THING. Everyone is caching the pages and with the streamlining of code and files it makes it very difficult to make change without occasionally having to move a file here or there.
The BEST THING YOU CAN DO, is leave your browser cache settings to grab a new version on "EVERY VISIT TO PAGE" which will ensure that you are seeing what you should be seeing. I may force the site to disallow caching (which doesn't work across all browsers and firewalls anyhow) to help resolve some of the issues people are having. -- GB |

Hey that's a good one, I never thought about that. I am a "computer professional" and it is kind of hard for me to initially navigate a new site, but you learn and get used to it. Just like going from DOS to Windows 3.x, and Windows 3.x to Windows 95/98. |

This site kicks butt. I have been to auto boards that get 10 post a day . This board KICKS. I wonder if there is any board on any subject that has the hits this board does?
