After SLAVING (heehee) over the code week after week after week, oooh a donut, after week after week I have finally gotten this thing done. (Well, almost!)

Want to get your comments on overall usage and look and feel.

There's still a few things which need cleaning and finishing up, and the ads are obviously missing from the pages (the big black gaps at top and bottom!!!) The ads will be back tomorrow in a custom built (in a hurry I might ad!) engine because the other stuff out there was a bit slow and controlling.

Just going to stick around a few more minutes and make sure nothing else blows up... speaking of which sorry about the 5 minutes of being unable to post... I pulled an OOOOPS on one of the forum upgrades.

Oh yeah, the Feature Pic is under new management so it wont be stale like before.

May be just becasue I'm used to the old forum, but this one is LOTS harder to navigate.

To log in, you have to go to a whole seprate page, instead of where it used to be.

The whole thing just looks kind of over-done.

However, I do appricate all your hard your you have put into these forums to keep them up for assholes like me! [beer]

Looks Gooood.

A little awkward to navigate at first but OK.
(I never liked dynamic menus on Web pages)

Seems to have taken a bit of a speed hit.

Haven't found any browser related problems.

Wouldn't mind seeing some new animated icons...

only one problem... I figured out how to log in, and went to the change your email section and did that. you sent me a new password and I went back to replace it with my old one and I'm logged in now(obviously) but it says log me in instead of log out ???
help ????

Well navigation should be easier, but the login had to be sacrificed due to spacial constraints. Then again, that's where the autologin comes in handy.

I also forgot to mention that photo albums are now up and running and I put up a quick one of the OHIO SHOOT in my account.

You can see the pics by clicking on my profile and then on the album.

(Oh and I fixed the spelling mistake too... not bad for the amount of changes I did, 1 typo at 100mph!!!)

I can't see any text! Everything is black! Help!
The only way I can read anything is if I highlight it first. (Like cut and paste)
It must be my browser because you all must be able to see everything if your not saying anything about it.I can see red text by the way and links but everything else is black...

Ever try to read dark blue text on a black background? It isn't easy. Worse yet, when I open a topic all I see are the icons. I can't see any text at all.

The only way I can see the text is to run Edit|Select All from the IE 5.5 main menu. If I don't select text, I can't see anything at all. :(

Opps, clearing the browser cache did it. There is light after all. :)

Well, like some others have said, all I'm getting is a black screen with only the emotcon showing. The only way I can read what is in a thread is to click on the reply with a quote on the first poster in the thread and then read.
I cleared my cookies and am still getting the same thing.

Not too happy with it. It took a few minutes to figure out I had to change my browser settings in order to see anything as my text settings were black. With black text and a black background you can guess what the pages would have looked like.... Yes, blank.

Than trying to guess how to log in was another treat.

Over all, I am not impressed and liked the old format 1000 times better. Sorry, but remember you asked.

One more rant....
Before the page number you were only would not be underlined. For example, if I were on page 3, it would not have an uderscore.

Now all the pages have the underscore no matter what page your on and leaves me guessing.

Get rid of the fru-fru crap in the discussion areas. Discussion areas should be utility in nature and quick to go through. The cutesy crap is fine on the home page and article areas.

The graphic border around the discussions has added about 2 seconds of render time on this old slow computer, and is quite annoying. I also have a small screen, and the cutesy stuff takes up a lot of screen space and adds to the amount of scrolling I need to do to see each page.
