Yeah yeah yeah, it's for catching criminals...for now. But what happens if it becomes a crime to be a member of certian political parties, churches or even a gun owner?

...and could this be used as black mail be the gov't? Say you tell your wife your were somewhere else, when in fact you were with another woman? Or vice-versa.

Or maybe your were out with a client that happens to be a woman and you get your pictured snapped with her. Then if you don't do what they want you to, they send the pics to your wife. Whether it's true or not, rest assured it'll cause problems!

I know, lots of speculation, but imagine the possibilities!

Another little factoid for you poor Florida fellas: The face recognition software that is so "revolutionary" is 90% accurate. Which means that they fuck up 1 out every 10 times. I just love those numbers don't you?

Hope nobody in the Tampa area resembles a crook, you might get detained.

I read an article about this today and man it is scary. This system is a boondoggle which will be used and abused in a huge way.

No doubt some Court here in the land will say we have no expectation of a Right to privacy while visiting a public place. I disagree.

Any bulge in a pocket like a thick wallet and soon you'll be in a database of people suspected of illegally carrying weapons.

Hey look! That guy's eating to many Big Macs. That's not PC. Put him in the meat eater database.
Look, here's a guy carrying a book about the Waco raid.
That guy has a Bible. That's a troublemaker. Who is that?
