Now I know which rounds are best at a "one shot stop", but which ones would cause the most pain? Maybe a full metal jacket hitting a thigh bone like a shin or forearm.
Oh, BTW when I was at my moms last time one of her boyfriends okie bastard children visiting from a trailer park in New York ran the handle bars of their bike into my god damn new mother fucking Chevy Blazer. Across the gas cap cover door is a deep scratch.

Maybe the bayonet on the end of my shotgun instead... ::shrugs::

The one that hits you, hurts the most...
I was hit while in the army by shrapnel from a 155mm, didn't hurt at first, then burned like a SOB once I figured out I was hit. Got hit in the right upper shoulder by a 230gr .45 fmj, it hurt right away. Depends on if it hits nerves, nerve bundles, fatty tissue only, muscle only, lots of variables.

You never worry about the one "with your name on it". It's the "to whom it may concern" that are the fother muckers!

Uh, who's side were you on, Randy?  A moron dropped a 105 round on my left foot, once.  It felt like I'd been shot.

I was thinking about reloading some .410 shells with a combo of #7 shot and some rock salt.

Mount a big rock salt chunk on the front bumper of the Chevy Blazer.  While standing over the victim, pelt with #7 shot.

Any bullet that hits you and doesn't kill you!!

As far as personal experience:  None.  My buddy did get shot with a 10MM FMJ.  Went through his shin and shed the jacket.  Four years after the fact, he still has jacket working its way to the surface.

My Indian friend at the convenience store says "It is nothing to be shot once you get used to it".

Any bullet that hits a bone or nerve junction will hurt a tad.

I took a .45 230fmj in the thigh after it went through a rear window and then a windshield, shedding its jacket.  The bare lead slug hit the femor (didn't break it) and slid up the bone and bounced off my pelvis and came to a rest about 2 inches to the left of my navel.

That hurt.  Took me years to get rid of the limp.
