"(Washington, D.C.) The Brady Campaign and the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence and the Million Mom March announced today that the organizations would merge on October 1. Leaders of both groups heralded the alliance as a "win-win" opportunity for two strong groups..."

Nyuck nyuck nyuck. One group with PR problems bad enough to cause a name change, the other that managed to burn through the Bell Campaign's money. We should be thankful these people are as inept as they are.

Thats a big neg-a-tory, Bandit.

This isn't showing thier ineptatude.
It's showing they are smart.
"United we stand, divided we blah blah blah"

Just look at the NRA v. GOA debates that sometimes crop up.
A bunch of guys on the same side, nitpicking each-other to death, while the Liberals solidify.

Good move on thier part....
Now it's our turn.
What do the Gun Organazations do??

I don't mind the GOA vs. NRA outlooks. I think it adds to our strength. The NRA can tell lawmakers that they're the moderates, and that the really devoted people are in the GOA.

I've never been called "really devoted people." Usually it's "radical" or "extremist"--and that's from our "friends" at NRA, Neal Knox excepted.

Good cop/bad cop works

Look at the civil rights movement. All the really good work they did was accomplished BEFORE Malcom X got wacked. After that no one had to pay attention to Dr. King- they knew he wasnt going to do anything but preach...

Now everyone knows that guncontrol only speaks with one voice, there are no moderates to discuss with. Its their way or the highway.

It also shows that they are both in money trouble.
