There are a lot of heifers everywhere. I agree that there are a lot less of them in the Bay Area, but many of those chicks are nuts.

I would do pretty well in TX, I have the hots for dark Latin babes.

Well I thought you moved to TX because you had a new job, and then (I must have missed the details) you where unemployed, and now your employed again.

I'm glad for you. I spent 5 months unemployed and it drained me financially and emotionally. I've had my present job for 3 months, it's pretty easy but the benefits are lacking and so is the pay. I'm going for an interview next week for a different job, 3 more bucks on the hour but it's second shift. Oh well I don't have a life anyhow.

Best of luck, and stay the hell away from Kalifornia if at all possible.

I'm unemployed as of tomorrow at 1700, but I work for a temp agency, as well. I've been making more than I did in Executive Protection, so I can't really complain.

Hopefully, I'll have another assignment or a call from one of the employers I've applied to by next Friday.

Tomorrow night, I'm heading down to Florida to see a friend at MacDill with USSOCOM, and go shooting with Kurt.

Then, well, I guess we'll see.

I'm still looking myself. I'm a college degreed former marketing manager and all I really want to do is mow lawns to make ends meet.

The lack of funds is seriously bugging me. I can't even pay bills.

The BNSF RWY has been hiring here in the Pacific Northwest. Probably in other parts of the West and Mid-West, too. If you can handle the work and the schedule, you can expect to start out at a minimum of about $40K/year.

Yeah it sucks being unemployed. This is really not what I intended as far as career goes, but it will tie me over till I get other things going. I have a recruiter looking for me in FL and AZ. I am still waiting to see about the Indianapolis gig. So hopefully I will be back on track careerwise in a few moths or so. Seems the market is starting to pick back up. Most firms pretty much slow down in the summertime so now that I have a temping gig I can hold over.

My previous employer did not suck. Was a great co. great bene's, great pay, loved the job, but was in CA. Kinda regret leaving that company. Still undecided on leaving CA though.
