Not an altogether bad idea.
Why don't you sent the pic to the NRA as a suggestion. Certainly would get the media tongues wagging at next years convention! |
|
i'm looking at the July American Rifleman, "Fabrique Nationale, then and now" article. although BRIEFLY mentioning the beloved M16, sadly it is NOT pictured....hmmmmmm
sweet pic of the Minimi on page 87 thuough. |

Nice Pic. Was that a Photoshop Job?
Minor quip: I don't see a flash hider.( Pre-bans take better pictures.) [:D] |

Chuck Heston is a cool dude, but there is no way in hell they are gonna alienate all the deer and duck hunters. We are the the bastard children of the gun owning family. We aren't gonna be anybody's best friend until SHTF. Then we're gonna get all kinds of loyal friends.

We are the RED-HAIRED bastard step-chidren, who make the family uncomfortable at gatherings, because we remind them of the truth, which they so conveniently wish all to forget. We're not sportsmen, we're gunowners. I hear this crapola all the time from both blue-collar and white-collar hunting types here in MA. Typical conversation at a gun shop: "Nobody needs more than 10 rds. capacity in a rifle." Me: "Sez who?" "Well, we just want to keep guns out of the wrong hands" Me: "Oh yeah? What happens when the govt. says YOU have the wrong hands?" "That will never happen- this is a free country." Me: "Then why can't I be free to buy an AR-15 or AK-47?" "Those aren't good weapons for hunting." Me: "Immaterial. The 2nd Amendment isn't about duck hunting, pops. It's about freedom- yours AND mine." I don't hunt- and from encountering these cammo-clad clods, I am getting less and less inclined to take it up. Most of these guys vote for Teddy Kennedy by reflex, because they think he's going to bring home the bacon. Usually the bacon is for the Big Dig (the $ong that never ends), or (ironically) fat defence contracts....gee- whose pockets does all this come out of, again? One guy even said that if the govt. made guns illegal or tough to get/own/use, he'd give up shooting, and take up golf instead. I wanted to throw thirty pieces of silver at him, but suddenly remembered that US coins no longer have any silver in them.... Moses should not only have a pre-ban AR w/ a flash suppressor held high, it should also have a bayonet and a grenade launcher on it. Fack 'em. |

He could of held up an M1A...
But as the others said, he didn't want to offend the hunters. |
|
alienate hunters! how many hunters use muskets or black powder?
|
|
Why do states have just "black powder" hunting seasons?
And in all reality, he held up a musket just so he wouldn't piss off the antis. The NRA is spineless. |

I tried making one with a barrett but couldn't find a good enough pic of the rifle. If anyone has a good pic and posts it or e-mails me it, I'll try to make a new one up for them.

I believe it was Jesus Himself who said something along the lines of "Let every man take a sword - if he cannot afford one, then let him sell his cloak to buy one" (somebody can give me the exact quote). Far be it for a guy named "JEW" to interpret Jesus, but I think he'd be proud of us 2nd Amendment guys...firearms are modern day swords, boys and girls. [brown]Evil J~[/brown] |

I recall the quote you are referring to. I belive it is in the book of John(?). Manipulating a picture of Jesus carrying the cross is what I was referring to as sacrilegious, not Jesus carrying a rifle.

Jewbroni,
here it is. Luke|22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. Luke|22:34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me. Luke|22:35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing. Luke|22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. Luke|22:37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end. Luke|22:38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough. |

True.
The hunting crowd generally believes the faulty, evil logic and thinking of the gun-grabbers. Either the hunters don't realize they are in the same line as us, only further back, or they don't really care. |

KABOING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Look out all you socialists I know...THIS pics for you, and is comin at ya...Your demokommie leader with a demokommie AK... |

One of the things wrong with the NRA. AR owners need to get more involved and start hammering the board about thinking about US too. Not one AR or Garand in their ads they want me to help finance. Sending that pic to them today! [:(!]

Can you have a picture of George W. Bush with an AK-74U Krinkov, and have it pointed at Kommie governor of the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia?
Thanks. Matt. |

Anyone have a e-mail address for the NRA headquarters? Just went on their site and found it impossible to get an address! Some help? [:O]

The pic of Heston would have been better w/ a pre-ban AR with all its "evil features", or even better, an M16.
But I still like it. :) |

This one was harder to do due to the original pic, and I'm a novice to begin with!
