Chuck Heston is a cool dude, but there is no way in hell they are gonna alienate all the deer and duck hunters. We are the the bastard children of the gun owning family. We aren't gonna be anybody's best friend until SHTF. Then we're gonna get all kinds of loyal friends.

"Those aren't good weapons for hunting." Me: "Immaterial. The 2nd Amendment isn't about duck hunting, pops. It's about freedom- yours AND mine." I don't hunt- and from encountering these cammo-clad clods, I am getting less and less inclined to take it up. Most of these guys vote for Teddy Kennedy by reflex, because they think he's going to bring home the bacon. Usually the bacon is for the Big Dig (the $ong that never ends), or (ironically) fat defence contracts....gee- whose pockets does all this come out of, again? One guy even said that if the govt. made guns illegal or tough to get/own/use, he'd give up shooting, and take up golf instead. I wanted to throw thirty pieces of silver at him, but suddenly remembered that US coins no longer have any silver in them.... Moses should not only have a pre-ban AR w/ a flash suppressor held high, it should also have a bayonet and a grenade launcher on it. Fack 'em. |
