Pics just keep getting better and better!
You could have a really cool website when this thing wraps up. |
Finals are wrapping up, I'm still willing to take a buttload of NYC pics if someone passes me a duck.
The Duck was in New York City and he didn’t run into any of the guys yelling, “...checkitout… checkitout… checkitout…”, handing out pamphlets advertising assorted hardcore porn massage parlors?
I know I haven’t been in NYC for a couple of decades, but I find it hard to believe those rascals haven’t given up their trade and found an “Honest” living. The Duck visiting one of Times Square's many XXX Fun Stores. That would have been interesting. Of course seeing The Duck take a trip to the top of the Empire State Building would have been spectacular. Of course it would have been even more spectacular to see how well The Duck can fly. The Duck at Yankee and Shea Stadium. That would be interesting as well. Getting The Ducks wings autographed would have been an added plus. |

Actually, we never made it across the river. We came from Pennsylvania, stopped at Liberty Park on the Jersey side, took the boat to Ellis Island and Lady Liberty, then back to the Jersey side for the trip home to DC. Next trip, though....... |

A thing of the past my friend..the flyer guys (if you can find one) are hawking legit stuff.
. Nope...the Deuce is all Disney-fied now....very family friendly, believe it or not.... |

I wish I could have gotten in on this thing earlier. I was at a major even last weekend in KY to kick off the Kentucky derby festival. Static airshow, airshow and a massive fireworks display. I have pics (not from the static display ) Any chance of a photoshop? or would that violate the rules of the wandering duck?
not at all, photoshop away. Hell, already this duck (or a suitable substitute) has been to more places than the previous owner. I should get some good pics at the Naval Academy Graduation this month, gonna try to sail at the Yard with the thing.
Idea coming....
How about getting the duck keelhauled with the aid of some Naval Academy cadets? CJ |
Sorry for the large photos, will edit them smaller when I get home next week.
The famous Wandering Duck arrived at the Hun Farm Shoot this past weekend after hitching a ride with me following his visit to the Buffalo Blastfest last month in Illinois. He made it into a bunch of pictures, but I forgot who took them. I'm sure you'll see them here soon enough. Anyways... with all the Arfcom members, guns and Tannerite around, this just seemed natural: Sewing up the duck after surgically implanting 5 bottles of Tannerite. A cigarette for the condemned. Wow, now I am behind the power curve, I have to set up the damn website. Now that finals are over, I should have more time.
Thanks for all the pics folks. |
How did I miss this thread so long???
Awesome, great work people! Another Internet legend is born. |
Thanks for the Tannerite, Keith. I couldn't remember your board name when I first posted. |

The guy on the right playing Airsoft? |
tag for later
Unfortunately, I can't take a photo of the duck at work. |
We have got to do that again...this time with some added effects.
Where is the wandering Duck website?
Has the owner been told the story yet? |
I IM'ed WingNut a few weeks ago; he wrote back that he was really busy and hadn't done anything yet. I haven't seen him post anything recently, so I assume he hasn't had a lot of free time since then.

Sorry about the stagnation guys, I just took a position at a local satellite engineering firm and with the DoD production deadline, I have been working 70 hour weeks. I was planning to continue to be a college student but I got sidetracked into the lucrative satellite communications field. I am making scant progress toward the website but am still proceeding. I plan to do the reveal to the owner around Christmas time.
Thanks for playing, keep the pics coming. -Wingnut |

Bump to keep alive... where's the website?
Wow.. less than 2 hours 'til archive... |
I haven't seen this thing for a long time...
Wonder how he's a doin'? |
Hell, send it to me here in Nuevo Laredo! Just as dangerous but cheaper postage! |
the original was lost in Colorado and many stand-ins were exploded. After starting a new job, I didn't have much time to devote to the idea any longer but now that things have quieted down a bit, I am having a buddy put together a website finally. I still intend to show the spoiled little brat what happened to her duck around the new year.

I've been watching this thread forever.
I need closure damnit. |
I've still got one of these ducks, if someone wants to pay shipping I'll send it their way.
Sombody needs to send one to the guys over at Mtyhbusters with a link to this thread. I am certain they could find new ways to kill this duck!
Uh Oh.
Something tells me they would be none to eager to do so considering the circumstances. |

Yeah, I'm thinking closure would be good, too.
Gimme that chick's phone number... Hell, I'll call her right now and tell her I put a bullet in her duck that just happened to be filled up with 40 ounces of Keith_J's tannerite. |
