It's on their show "True life" the episode is titled "I'm a gun owner" on tonight at 10pm here in FL. This will be very interesting to watch.

"MTV" + "Gun Owners"...

Yeah, I can REALLY see that coming out with any sort of objectivity and factual information.

Anyone that owns a firearm is a damn fool for expressing their views to ANYONE in the media unless it's a known RKBA friendly.

Anything more than "No comment" can be edited and spun to hell and back.  The more you talk, the more source material they have to fuck around with.

They'll have a bunch of gangbangers on there with their "NINE's" talking about how they need guns to protect their turf.

Or some kid who says he needs a gun to protect himself from the bullies at school.

Also ask the AZ crew about the German TV crew that showed up to one of their shoots who they made the mistake of letting in and being candid with and the total hatchet job that made it on-air back home about the American gun-nuts and militia wannabes.

It should be easy to predict how it will turn out. The first few minutes will be about terrorism, the VA sniper shootings, and Columbine. Then they will show clips of the stupidest, fattest militia members they can find. They will have clips of gangbangers with stolen Lorcins, and people doing extemely stupid shit with guns. They'll tell us about the dangers of .50 BMG Rifles, assault weapons, and armor peircing bullets. They may even show footage of someone making a legal gun purchase(background check and all) to show how easy it is. They will undoubtably comment on how easy it is for a terrorist to get a gun here. They will trash MILLIONS of law-abiding gun owners to push their liberal agenda.

Tommorow I will go to school and here at least one teenage girl crying to her friends about how easy it is to get a gun in America. I will be tempted to strangle her, and beat her friends with a hose for talking to someone so stupid.

I hate fucking MTV

The type of people whose opinion can be shaped by MTV are the type of people who don't vote, don't care, don't matter.

I remember the thread VERY well, and helped translate the text along with Kar98, a former member here. ZDF, the German network really made everybody out to be nutbars. The two reporters, Nadia and Udo, were even-handed in person during the interviews, (she even fired some guns) but when the report got on German TV, it was the usual "amerikanische Waffen-Narren" BS.

I said it then and I say it now. NEVER let the media in your life, esp. if you are a gunowner. They WILL tell you anything they want to get what they want out of you, and will make you out to be a menace to society. Guaranteed.
