So, what if the assault weapons ban does lapse ? what would all of the prebans be worth ? I guess they would just be plain old AR15's again. Are all of you guys who paid out the big bucks gonna be pissed(that your rifles are worth less than you paid) or pissed but happy the damn ban is gone!!
OR, it could be renewed and the values could go up !!
Looks like a bit of a double edged sword on this

I didn't give all that much money for my four preban rifles. So I'd still be real happy if the ban went away.

Besides, that won't have anything to do with the early import ban that GWs dad signed.

What about "postbans". Guess they will be labeled as "post-ban-pre-ban-lift". Wonder if they will depreciate in value? Just a thought..

Loosing value would suck, but I'll gladly give up some value for more freedom. Most of my prebans are out of production anyhow. (Valmet, Galil,etc)

I wouldn't loose sleep on it, by law the '94 will sunset, but they'll have something more aggressive passed to replace it by then.

Sure I will lose money on the pre-ban that's the sad part, but the good part is that I will surely stock up on them new rifles because someday, if the ban ever take effect again, I will surely recover my lost plus bonus.

NFA going away would make an even bigger finacial clusterf#ck especially for class 3 dealers who actually keep machine guns stocked.
A rifle thats worth 7k because of a piece of paper and a 5 dollar piece of metal suddenly becomes worth $600.
