I am just glad that this guy didn't use an "assualt weapon,"  you are suppose to be able to run away.  These guys are full of $hit.

Man Gets 25 Years for $8 Murder

    NEW YORK--A man convicted of killing a young woman during a robbery
that netted $8 was sentenced Thursday to 25 years to life in prison.
    David Jamison, 28, was found guilty last month of second-degree
murder and robbery in the March 8, 1999, slaying of Amy Watkins as she
walked home from her internship at a community center.
    Watkins, 26, moved from Kansas to New York in 1997 to pursue a
master's degree in social work.
    Jamison and another man were inside a restaurant when Watkins walked
past, and they picked her out as an easy robbery target, authorities said.
When she struggled with Jamison, he plunged a kitchen knife into her back.
The assailants fled with $8.
    A second man, Felix Rodriguez, has been charged with murder.

These guys ought to be fucking stoned to death.  

Personally, I wouldn't care if the robbery netted the scumbag .25-cents.

He'll probably be out preying again in about 10 yrs with good behavior.
