A guy I know went into a Taco Bell here in AZ openly carrying. While he was waiting around after he paid for his order to come up, the Manager came out and asked him if he was a cop. He replied no, then the manager proceded to tell him that it is company policy to only allow LEOs to carry while in their restaurants. The manager asked him to leave, and wouldn't even let him get his food. He had one of his friends that was with him get the food for him.
I would have asked for my money back, and caused Taco Bell some problems through local activism. If a business wants to prohibit people from carrying, fine that's their right since its their proprty. However, they should clearly display a sign saying that so I can exercise my right not to do business with them, and can avoid causing a scene like the one described above. I make it a habit not to do business with places that deny me my right to carry. Sometimes its unavoidable though, all the malls and movie theatres prohibit carry.
Solution: Order carry out, buy your merchandise through catalogs, and rent movies.
