Ok, I can't post a direct link to the picture because its in a photo gallery at foxnews but here is the story.

Fourth picture on the top row the caption says "Sept. 29: Iraqi National Guards aim their guns as they participate in a raid at Sheikh Maroof neighborhood of Baghdad."

I'm not sure but those dont look like Iraqi National Gaurds to me... If they are.. MAN they are tact!!

They are Iraqi. They are wearing our old style DCU's, and obviousley equiped well with recent US gear(minus the AK of course).

you can see their tactics are improving - training is paying off....instead of running around with guns all akimbo they actually are stacking up nicely

Well if it is Iraqis these guys look well trained.. I wonder if we supplied them humvess and armoed vehicle in the background??

it good to see they are getting the needed supplies- even if old bdus. I bet they are loving the sheet out of it- uncle sugar giving them all sorts of free stuff and not beating them , etc. bummer drawback is getting blowed up by suicide bombers though.

I can understand some of the resistance- after all we invaded their country-what would YOU do? BUT, I think when they (and reg civilians) figure out what we can provide/help them/help themselves with, they will be a bit happier. Hopefully sooner than later.

We are still having lack of equipment problems with the INGs at our base. They are mostly lacking desert boots. Some are still drilling in sandals.
