If it realy played on the news, then it should be around somewhere, but of course would an institution like the media in our country, that was positively giddy to make a scandal based on poorly forged documents until a untrained person pointed out they were forged be willing to look through the archives to find video that would trash thier hero? I doubt it, now if there were solid rumors that GW Bush had so much as not stood at attention during a Rangers game while the Anthem was played, there would be thoudands of reporters scouring every studio dumpster in hopes of finding such material.

Well if it ended his campaign there must have been newspaper articles written about it as well... which means microfice copies in numerous libraries. I'm willing to bet that even back then the government was recording all news broadcasts... question is does the video exist.
Here is something I do know... the SBVFT supposedly have an October surprise waiting, and from what I have heard... its video... the exact words I was told was, "the surprise is in the can." Back in the day video was on a reel, not digital or casette... maybe they have a copy of the tape in question? |

The film link provided has a picture at the beginning that Dornan says shows Kerry doing what is described, however it is not clear what is going on. There must be addition pictures from this event, or film. If it exists, it will turn up.
