Guys,

Wrong...

Kato, nope, the dutch armed forces use Diemaco C7/C8 rfiles. Some branches still carry the FN FAL or the old Uzi. Pistol is the Glock 17, although some units use the HK p9 or Sig Sauer P226. The Minimi and FN MAG are also used. And the FN P90 and HK MP5.

Do you have a photo of the Diemaco? I'm not familiar with it. And the P9 for that matter. Hey, this is pretty interesting stuff. Thanks, Bollocks.

The more I look at it though the more it looks like something made with Adobe Photoshop.

FN folding stock

M-16 pistol grip

Steyr like sight

Galil Receiver

G3 fore-end

What's up with that?

Hi,

I'll give you guys the answer:

It's a Croatian APS-95 in 5.56NATO.

The APS95 is an assault rifle firing 5.56mm NATO ammunition, a rotary-bolt design owing much to the Israeli Galil series but with
local revisions. The side-folding butt copies the Galil, while the composite furniture has revised ergonomic outlines. A bayonet grip
slides over the combined flash-hider/grenade launcher at the muzzle and a light bipod is optional. A x1.5 optical sight doubling as a
carrying handle is a Croatian addition; iron sights are also provided. The Galil-pattern magazine holds 35 rounds.

The APS95 is in production and is issued to Croatian Army (HVO) Guards units. The rest of the HVO is equipped with Kalashnikov models from numerous sources. M16 rifles are due for `Train and Equip' delivery from the US and should have been delivered by now.

Cheers,
