I've got about 5.

Glock 19, HK USPC 9mm, Kahr PM9, Smith and Wesson 642 snubbie, and a Bersa .380

As you can see I lean toward 9s.

I carry each as the situation applies, and attire is considered. For instance, everyday carry is either 642 or PM9, but when I anticipate long trips or more dangerous situations, the HK or Glock is used. Wouldn't hurt to have the smaller guns as backup too.

1911, Keltec P11, and my Witness 10mm. I carry the 10mm when I can get away with it, cause I can shoot it better than the others, and the 10mm is a cannon. The 1911 is a little easier to hide, and my P11 rides in my pocket when I cant conceal the others.

There was a time when I had four. Sometimes carrying can be a real hassle so I turned lazy and just carry my Kel Tec P32 all the time. If I'm traveling I go heavier. My duty weapon is a POS (S&W 4516) so I leave it in my locker when I'm not working.

uspF 9mm usually in vechicle due to size. glock 23 or 19 most of the time on me. sometimes the 26 or 27 if i need something small. i size really matters i have a AMT backup .380. however i dont trust the AMT since it cuts the webbing of my hand. i have to hold it low and i always flinch. IMO the glock 23 or 19 is the best ccw pistol. they are large enough to hang on to and shoot accurately, but small enough to hide.

to answer the question 6/7 since i sometimes carry a 19c.

If it's cool enough to wear enough cover I'll carry my P99 or 9000S OWB.

Just "qualified" with my Makarov and LOVE how it vanishes IWB (and how accurate the little bugger is).  Now my primary IWB (replacing a SA Ultra Compact).

I got an XD40, G21, Makarov, plus a few others but I dont carry them.  Id carry the XD but it doesnt fit my holster and it likes to rust on me, its a nice gun too but that problem ruins it.

A few years ago I would have listed about 10 different handguns. But after carrying so many different guns for a while, I came to the conclusion that I needed to really narrow down my choices and stick with them. It's important to have a gun in which you are thoroughly familiar with handling and shooting. Finding one's self in a gunfight is stressful enough. The last thing you need to worry about is the differences between the pistol's controls and point of aim, etc. It seems there is an old saying that goes something like....."fear the man who owns just one gun".

Therefore I carry the Glock 17 about 95% of the time anymore. It just makes sense to find a weapon that works and stick with it. That way I won't find myself trying to manipulate the safety that doesn't exist or try to fire a weapon with a safety without thinking to disengage it. I do occasionally carry a Sig P229 also, but only because it has no manual safety. And I practice enough with each weapon to be proficient with either. But I just feel 2 guns is my max for the carry rotation without starting to lose more than I gain by carrying so many different models.

I have .......... Enough !

And no one but me has seen them all at one time

ETA

I have 2 that I rotate for carry though . A USPC .45 and a Sig 229 .40 .
I don't have any hard and fast reasons for choosing those two , other then
I'm confident in my ability to hit what I'm aiming at . They also have the right
size and thump .

I carry a S&W 642 ti mostly these days. Went through a Kimber Ultra Ten II, Sig 226, Sig 245, and a G-26.

I found that the 642 fits my needs for the most part. Easy to carry, dissappears IWB, packs enough punch at close range with the right ammo.

Only one, an alloy Para P12. I love the Para but it's fairly heavy and way too large for pocket carry so I am considering picking up an airweight type .357 snubbie for pocket (cargo pocket) carry.

Have others (full size) but they're too big. I'm a largish guy but am very ticklish about printing. I would carry a larger gun more confidently if I had one of those shoulder holster t-shirts DeSantis has advertised... BTW anyone give those a try?

Glock 29 in 10mm and Glock 30 in .45...The are identically sized so I can carry both in my Sidearmor IWB...Most times its the 30 because I don't completely trust my 29's reliability..yet.

I carry a couple different sidearms depending on where I am and what season it is. I can't carry at the office...office backpack has Glock 26 w/2 spare G17mags. Out and about summer is G26 or S&W J frame. Cooler weather when a vest doesn't stand out is G17, 1911 or M9.
