You forgot about King of the Hill.
But of the two choices, I prefer The Simpsons by far. I don't really consider South Park to even be a classic cartoon. |

I can't make the choice.. they are both great in their own way. Simpsons are a bit more subtle, but South Park will take on topics the Simpsons won't touch.

speaking of the Simpsons, the episode where Ned Flanders wife gets killed, there a scene where Ned Flanders is being video taped by Homer while taking a shower. Anyone notice that they pixelized his shlong and that the pixelization went down to his knees

I'm voting for South Park.
ETA: Don't get me wrong, I like the Simpsons too, but I always laugh a lot harder at an episode of South Park compared to the Simpsons. |

Anybody remember the Simpsons where Bart took all of the cherrys out of chocolate covered cherries and replaced them with mayo?
The Simpsons are getting to the point where they are making fun of the way they make fun of the way they keep repeating storylines. South Park is a lot more subtle than the Simpsons if you take into consideration all of the people who consider it toilet humor. |

hey, hey, hey..[jimmmmy] "Ddddon't be dissin' my niggas dawg"[/jimmmmy] Toilet humor..you make it sound so bad. I like toilet humor. I liked "Married with Children", it was full of toilet humor. I like how Southpark twists current events into the episodes. Something the writers are very talented in doing and if you pay close enough attention and not focus just on the toilet humor you may even find out they sometimes have an underlying point in the story. |

Me likes both too. But Simpsons does have the better writers. But I gotta say "God Damn Mongorians, you tear down my shitty wall" made me laugh till I cried... |
