There's got to be no freakin statistical way that damn thing can hit us. I just got my power back on and I'm not going back to the stone age again!!! Francis has been a nightmare! I don't want to leave town, in case of a looter either... Ugh

Was there one county in Florida that didn't get rained on today?    That was one big ass storm.

I hardly got any rain here and I am just about 15 miles south of the eye as of 10:00pm tonight!

Once it moves more north, thats when I will get hammered.

I think that there was one year that North Carolina got hit by three hurricanes.  Yea, Ivan looks like a party pooper.  Maybe he will just curve out to sea and not bother anyone.

Take it for what it's worth, but TWC said that it's expected to hit Cat 5 within 18-24 hours.....this could get ugly....

It hasn't rained at all from Tallahassee to points west - of course, it's heading our way now.  Frances has it out for this whole state!

Same here. Not sure which I like more tho...snow storms or rain storms...I mean, I love storms and all, but I would kinda miss the snow, too...

Maybe Maine? They get some freaky storms up there, AND snow..

My power will be out until Thursday PM. Running the gen for the fridge and freezer. Small new pond in my yard. Ivan has nixed my Keys trip. Move?

Looks to me like it's heading right for the panhandle - Tallahassee got hit pretty bad by Frances - but those of us further west have been lucky so far.  The luck may be running out!

Ivans a cat IV again!

I'm ramped up...but, I am getting tired of this season. I am exhausted.

Ivan will be in the Gulf...Ivan will hit Florida, somewhere from Tampa to us in the Panhandle.

'Fraid not! Check out the system in the northwest. That will 'steer' Ivan northward and then to the northeast. I'm refueling my gas tanks, loading up on batteries and doing a quick carb and tune-up job on the gen set.

It's so soggy here that any type of a bad blow is going to topple much of what's left.

BTW, we got our power back yesterday 'bout noon. Ahhhh, that hot shower felt fantastic!

We just got "kissed" by Bonnie and Frances here in Panama City, The weather folks did a pretty good job of predicting the last two which really scares the piss out of me with Ivan.  That sumbitch is headed right for us "panhandlers".

I think the forecasters putting that map together would take that into account.
