A few years ago, and up until 1 year ago, I sold a number of Kalashnikitty T-shirts to members here and on other boards.  I was wondering if there might be enough interest in them to do another run.

I'll try and find a pic (unless someone here has a pic or link) but imagine the Hello Kitty, wearing a pink flower print shirt, holding an AK-47.  Very funny, and always pissed off liberals when they saw it.

The idea was from the demented mind of my wife, and we had a graphic artist design it.  I had a local T-shirt maker (great shirts, last forever) professionally screen print them (no iron-ons here!)

Cost about $20

Let me know what you think.

Next to DVDTackers T-shirts, yours are easily the best I have gotten, I ordered a couple and I love it when my 11 year old daughter wears hers to her liberal school (on dress down days).  Great quality and a fantastic message, why woudl you not sell these things constantly?

Only AK47 members of Arfcom get the regular price.

Hielo, that's excellent- what kind of reaction does she get? And more importantly, what kind of reaction do you get from teachers/parents? I'd like to get a T-shirt like that for my 7-yr old daughter who loves Hello Kitty, and wants a pink AR w/ a dedicated .22 upper....

Well amongst our friends, the reaction is mild to humored, as our friends know our thoughts on the subject, but when we are out and about, shopping or such, I have actually been stopped and berated for allowing her to wear the shirt, this came form a 30 something soccer mom with her own yougen in tow, her daughter was wearing a shirt that said "Hold my purse while I kiss your boyfriend", I pointed it out to her and she failed to see the problem.

School allows t-shirts with political messages (usually anti-republican), so had to choke on the fact that one of their little dears was sporting verbiage of the opposition.  She is going to a boarding school next year for girls only, which stresses math and science, so this is her last chance to 'kick up some fuss'.

Don't bother checking, suprise them.  They will love them  SOft cotton T's with very high quality silk screening (not a transfer).

Wow - I didn't realize how much they were loved and missed.  I may just have to do this then.

How I've normally done it is I'll post the final prices (XXL and XXXL are about $2 extra) and then people will email me with the number and sizes they want.  Then I'll tell them where to send checks or MOs and I'll get them printed up - once I receive payment I'll ship - I use 2-3 day Priority Mail, which will end up being $4 shipping for 1-2 shirts, and an extra $1 per shirt after that - I think that normally works out about right.

I would take at least two more.  It  is one of my favorite t-shirts. You would not believe all the positive reactions I got with it when I wore it to Disneyland.

I think its funny as all heck. But if you mass produce these Sanrio will be on your ass hard. Sanrio owns Hello Kitty.

Funny thing is - they will licence hello kitty for just bout EVERYTHING - but they wont have anything to do with weapons.

So I am pretty sure that if sanrio found out you will get sued.
