In summary, it's a report promoting the adoption of NICS for all gun sales and changes to how the NICS system verifies a person's identity. They went around buying guns from pawn shops using fake driver's licenses. For Internet gun sales, they attempted to get two people to ship them guns through the mail, but the sellers refused stating they would only go through an FFL in the buyers's state of residence. However, the sellers said they would sell them in person without requiring Id. AFAIK, this is legal, correct?

In any case, it's simply another example of a Democrat sponsored solution in search of a problem.

He asked if he was a criminal, what else can an individual do?

Why??? Ask whether he's a in a policitial office and a Democrat, guaranteed criminal. (of the 2nd Admendment)

Realy thro, Waxman doesn't want anyone to have any guns so he and his fellow socialists will feel safe.
