I am thinking to get a SIG 210, after did some search, the price($1800 for SIG 210 6,$2000 for SIG 210 2) really surprised me. Does SIG 210 really worth that much? I know SIG 210 has six different models, which one is the best? what is the fair rice? Thanks in advance

Yes, it is worth every cent of it.  I am hoping to buy a P210-6 with target sights.  Sold my last one and regretted it immediately.

IMO you would be much better off with a H&K SOCOM or Tactical. I have owned, used, and carried many Sigs (P220, P226, P230) and I still prefer HK...of course when you are speaking of this caliber of weapon...and Sig is good.....either will e\serve you well. It is more dependant on you and what you plan to use it for.

I thought the old ones were hard to find and SIG is coming out with it again.
It`s a pretty pistol and other than the mag release being funky I would want one bad. They have the reversed slide groove thingy and are just beautiful.

Yes, they are worth the money.  Best made pistol you can get.

DocSwat--what you actually owned were SIG-Sauer pistols.  The SIG P-210 is a pure Swiss gun (I was corrected on that fact myself years ago, and when I finally got one, I saw why).  I agree that for self defense, the HK's are PROBABLY better pistols, but, then a $20 Casio Quartz keeps more accurate time than a $2000 Rolex, but people still buy the Rolex.  I actually like my HK PSP as a "carry" gun over the HK USP .45 I have--the PSP fits my hand much better.

Hipwr223--Is it in a blue box?  It is probably the Danish Mil. contract 210-49 like I have.  DSA and then Keisler's were wholesaling them for a while but now they are gone.

What about a 1911 in 9mm?  Nolwin is doing a fine one now and many other custom shops do too.

I do not doubt the Sigs are good, but for the kind of money you are willing to pay you can have a good custom 1911 9mm made.

Just my opinion though, all based on theory.  I have never shot the Sig 210 or even seen one outside of magazine articles.

I believe these guns are combat/military guns.  The 210 is a true target gun.

I have actually shot one of those guns.  REAL good shooter, real accurate.  If you can spare the bucks get one.  I think that Sig makes these guns in lots, when they run out of this lot, then they consider it discontinued.
