Odd. I hope they never search my office. I have about a half-dozen almanacs.
Maybe the FBI will start cracking the heads of door-to-door encyclopedia salesmen, too? (Do they still exist?) |

Just tear the cover off your Swank magazine and glue it onto the front of your almenac. That way they may think your a perv but no chance of being a threat to the country.

The FBI noted that use of almanacs or maps may be innocent, "the product of legitimate recreational or commercial activities." But it warned that when combined with suspicious behavior -- such as apparent surveillance -- a person with an almanac "may point to possible terrorist planning." God help you if you're a photographer out taking pictures, and happen to have an almanac on you. |

Not intending to lash out at [b]you[/b], but my understanding is that they use money, vehicles, aircraft, bombs, and a host of other things too. The thing that pisses me off the most here is the fact that the .gov reminds us everyday about how real the terror threat is and then roughs-up those who are caught preparing for it...just in case. Give me a break. Some guy got nailed for "military paraphernilia" the other day. He had MREs, a K-pot, a gas mask, and camping gear. Sweet Mother of Josephus! |
