Anyone out there collect Fire/EMS parphernalia?

I have two firefighting SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) "air packs". They look to be in new or like new condition. Only problem is they are "obsolete" by the standards of the local fire departments and HAZMAT team. There for they won't fill them or use them. They are now collectors items ( that will function if filled). [pyro]

Do you want them filled?  Maybe your local SCUBA diving shop will fill them for you.

When I took a SCUBA diving course they said our tanks could be filled at the fire department, but recommended doing it at the shop.  Saying that the air quality at the FD wasn't as good(carbon monoxide from the trucks).  What they really meant was that they wanted your 2 dollars for air. [;)]
