AR Palooza?? - AR15.COM

I had read a post here at some point in the recent post about an AR event called AR Palooza in Tunica, Mississippi to be held in September. I think the poster said it was sponsered by Shotgun News. I have heard or seen nothing else about it. Was I dreaming this, or does someone know some details? Thanks, Mike

Word is that its cancelled because the convention center didn't want guns or pointy things. Haven't seen an official post yet.

here is the latest info i got from the gun show here 4-27

"Sept 28-30 at the GRAND hotel and casino in tunica MS."

As of then it was still a go.

i just emailed shotgun news about it. They were supposed to be a major sponsor according to the flyer i got. we will see what they have to say.

Here is the response i got back from SGN.

"Shotgun News has been forced to cancel the AR-Palooza because the owner of
the exhibit hall retroactively forbade the display of any knives or
ammunition. Shotgun News will never be associated with any effort that
restricts legal products, so there was no choice but to call off the event.
We hope to be able to put the AR-Palooza on in a different location in
future"

Personally i say a boycott of the grand casino is in order.
