From the 2001 Standard Catalog of Firearms

HK91 NIB $3500.00 Exc. $2750.00 VG $2300.00

SteyrAUG NIB $3700.00 Exc. $3500.00 VG $3100.00

All will be preban and legal for civilian ownership in "remaining" US territories. Please note, these prices are conservative in some areas.

Garry, it is a guide not a home shopping catalog. Krause Publications 715-445-2214, excellent comprehensive referrence book.

Try CFI 800-777-0834. That is where I buy alot of my groceries.

CFI is (in my experience) horrendously overpriced as a rule.
Your best bet for buying guns like the HKs and AUGs is to cruise the ad boards at www.subguns.com and www.sturmgewehr.com and pounce on the good deals when they come. Average price for a HK91 is around $2,100, average price for an AUG depends on the barrel length and stock color.  Green 20-inchers are more plentiful and CAN be found for around $3200-3500, whereas black 16-inchers are more rare and usually command in the $4000 range.

Waldo, we had the same .22LR sets made by HK, only they were for L1A1s. We had a total of 10 of those kits.

Wasn´t looking at the rifling when we blasted away on FA at our weapon dealerships indoor range, then looked and found out that it was not mean´t for FA, uops! ran fine though. Quite steady for a FA weapon i say, hehehe.

What does a NIB Steyr scout in .308 go for?

As i said ours were for L1A1s, will work on FALs also. We have one L1A1 legally made into a FA weapon here. It was the test weapon for the FA firing of the kit. We sold 9 kits and my collegue left the last one to his personal collection(FAL man to the bone).
