My groups kinda suck, but here's the best 25 or so shots I've done at 100 with my ironsights:

I shot 9 rounds into a group about the size of a quarter with a Colt HBAR once.

This isn't my best, it wasn't benchrested, but shot prone with a iron sighted CAR in 7.62X39 with Wolf ammo at 100yrds. Not great, but acceptable for what I was shooting. Ahhh... OK... but that is bench rest...
Bushmaster w/ 16" Barrel, Iron sights at 100 yards? 85% success on standard throwing clays... [b]Standing.[/b] That's the size of the kill zone on a human head. Of course, getting the guy to stand still long enough, that's a problem not solved by shooting at clays. |
