I have only one mag but it's a good mag. I'm thinking I should get more just in case something happens. Who here has the most mags?

What's wrong with you? You're suicidal![:D]

Seriously, if your one hi cap AR mag gives out, you drop and lose it or break it, it get confiscated/stolen, you have an expensive single shot. What if you need a second mag and don't have time to reload 30 rounds?

AR15's, AK47's, FAL's, HK91's, and all of the Sport Utility/battle rifle ilk need a minimum of 10 magazines.

What's wrong with you???

You're a wuss, that's what. [:D]

Step up to the plate and get you monja mags. Like a dozen per rifle.

1 is enough...

that way when you turn your weapon in to the govt. you'll only be out the cost of the weapon and one mag.

Now, this mag you have, is it a 100 round C-Mag?
If so, you may be okay. [:P]

MDS.  Mag Deficiency Syndrome, you FREAK.  If my wife finds out somebody's getting by with 1 paltry mag, I am soooooooooo busted.

Don't feel bat I don't have very many either. I have 5-15s(factory) for my beretta 92, 2-40s and 2-20s for my mini-14, 1-30 for my sks, the list goes one but the point is we need to both go buy some more.

If you cannot get yourself out of a situation with just 30 rounds then you have no business owning an AR.

I only have 2 orlites, 3 USGI 30s, 1 USGI 20, and 3 Colt .22LR kit Slick-willy capacity mags.  Of course, having fifteen hundred rounds worth of stripper clips on hand sorta evens it out.

That definately depends on the situation! I have quite a few, but I only use about three of them regularly. If they never lift the ban, I'll still have serviceable mags to give to my heirs. In the mean time, it's kinda neat just looking at them.....

One is fine. I have 7 usgi, I don't plan on buying anymore.

If you have an ar15 and a good mag you will be better off than 95% of the population if the shtf.

Get as many as you possibly can, while you can!

Test all of them, then put a bunch away. Use a few as range mags to keep in practice.

Then, buy more mags!

Get 'em NOW!!!

Living in CA, where you can't get 'em.

[red] What??? [/red]

You mean that you have to buy more mags???? I thought that everything that is needed is the 10-rnd mag that came with a Bushy!

You guys are pulling my leg.....

Keep buying them until you lose count of how many you have.  Then buy 10 or so more.

I have no where near as many as the MAGAHOLICS...

But I have about (35) 30 round USGI Mags and (30) 20 round USGI.   I don't think you can become a magaholic until you have around 100 for the same weapon.

Wow!  Freedom Fighter, I have only one mag just like you!  What a coincidence.  The guy at the gunshow who sold me my mag said I'm being consumer-smart because I just bought a genuine honest-to-goodness USA mag.  He said there is nothing better than a product made in the good old USA.

WORD OF CAUTION: I was just joking with you.  If you don't know yet, avoid the USA mags anyway possible.  I don't know if you already know that they are absolute junk for at least the AR rifle and maybe other weapons.  I almost made the mistake buying a small box of them!  Like the broken records keeps saying, "Stick with GI mags. Stick with GI mags".

Hey!  I'm still like you because I have only one GI mag for the AR.  I'm not the only one!     NOT!       [;D]

Hell, I has four USGI mags even before I had an AR.
It is just so easy to spend $20 on a new mag.

Thank You!
Seriously though...How many of us are guilty of selling something off and keeping the accessories? I sold an M1 .30 carbine a few years ago and gave the guy a 10 rounder with it. I still have all the 30's. I'm going to have to auction them off or something.Any one need em'? I will trade for USGI AR mags.:-)
