OK... I'm willing to spend between $1500-$2000, but would love to spend even less!  I set this as my price range because I really want a nice M1A, but I also really want to get something from ZM, I just don't know if its worth the big bucks.  I already own a benelli nova, a bushmaster xm-15 e2s a3, a SAR-1 AK, and a H&K USC... I want something different so that I don't get bored after about 6 months to a year and then have to go spend another few Gs to hold me over!

I would go with the M1A first.

If I went with the M1A, by the way, what additional options and features would you suggest I get... If I'm gonna get an M1A, I want to do it right!

Geta DSA FAL. Go to www.dsarms.com

One of their STG58's will run ya $8-900.

One of their top o the line FAL's will run ya $1,400-1,500.

The FAL has .308 power with AR recoil.

Or, look at Armalite's website and look for their AR180. $600 for a .223.

Of get BOTH the AR180 and the FAL for < $2K.

An AR10T in 300WSM.  Ask Armalite.  They are considering it if the demand is there.

Don't compromise get what you really want because you will not be satisfied and end up getting it eventually.

So go with the M1A.
