How are non-pistol/SBR 300 blackouts? I always hear about pistols and SBRs, but not the longer barrel lengths.

They were designed around the shorter barrels, but it works fine out of 16" and longer barrels. To the OP: AAC makes .300blk uppers. They're pretty high on my list. Noveske .300blk barrels are killer, too. |

I bought the 9" AAC one from AIM. Awesome upper. No complaints!

Pre-panic; I was watching a 14.5" Noveske 5.56 upper that was $1280, and a 12.5" AAC 300 BLKOUT upper that was $1080. They sold out soon after the panic started. A few weeks ago the Noveske one popped back up at the same dealer for about $1400. I haven't seen any 12.5" AAC's come back, so.. I assume when they do they may be higher as well. I was gonna go the SBR pistol route for the AAC one, until I knew what state I was going to be staying in. Ammo was the reason I didn't buy it before it sold out.. That's the only downside I have seen about 300 blk. |

I rolled my own with a barrel from Midway.
Haven't had a chance to shoot it as a pistol, yet... I've only hand-loaded 8 rounds so far, and can't find any commercial. I have an 8 inch delta arms barrel
It is really accurate and has been perfect function wise. I would recommend it to anyone |

Built my own upper, more fun that way (it has a 8 in noveske barrel).
