I just upgraded my regular annual NRA membership to Life. No sponsorship is needed.
Just call this number: 1-888-678-7894 You do not even need to be an active member or have a Life members sponsorship. The phone call is a bit painful but well worth it I think. I do not know how long the upgrade special will last. Regards, Mike <Thread title changed slightly and highlighted green 1/17/2013 - Z> |

Quoted: Me too, thanks.Just became a life member. Thanks for this, dude. |

Just took advantage and became a life member. Thanks for the heads up.

Mods,
Is there a way to make this a sticky? This was an easier process ( for me at least) since no sponsorship is needed. Thanks, Mike |
|
I'm gonna give them a call this week. I upgraded to life member via 40 quarterly payments, but if I can get it or $300 that's even better
|
|
All those interested, please do it.
The NRA can use as much support as we can offer. |

Just upgraded my annual membership, thanks for the tip. Took all of 5 minutes

thank you from two new life members ( the lil lady and myself)

Long time lurker, I think that a thank you from a soon to be Life Member of the NRA is as good a place as any for my first post. Now to continue pressuring my range friends to pony up the measly $25 for an annual.

It works but just so you folks know... he gets a commission for every call that comes in on that number. Just so your aware....not all your funds are going to the NRA. Tom sends his commission to a charity of his choice. Sponsored membership = 100% funds to the NRA to help fight for our Freedoms. . |

I started this thread and got the phone number from my ffl member's only forum. Who is Tom Gresham, and what kind of
charities would he donate to that are not in our interests? If I led anyone astray I humbly apologize. I tried to sign up using a Life member's info at NRA-2013.org and it didn't work. If this is the case, mod please unpin this thread and remove it if you think best. My intent was to pass (what I thought) a Good deal on to others. $1000 was out of my reach, $300 was do able. Mike Just googled him, never have listened to, or heard about him. What are his views? |

I'm about to throw caution to the wind and just post up my information on here so people can just use the NRA web form and get their membership with no bullshit. Why was the call painful? |

The customer service lady just wasn't too knowledgeable. I thought I could just give her my NRA number to make life easier in regards to personal info but had to do it all over again.
I just called back and they answered that it was the NRA membership hotline. Now I don't know what to think or who to believe. Mike |

Mike I called a few minutes ago (before I read the Tom G info) to ask how long this offer is for. Not that it means anything but there was no mention of this being linked to anyone. I asked how long the offer is good for (because I don't have $300) and she said while the NRA has not exactly said, it is likely good until the end of January. I'm hoping I can get together enough for at least one membership. I'd love to get two, one for me and one for the wife. |

Probably more than 40 in the last 3-4 days with no issues what-so-ever. Only issue was one person copied and pasted the email into the form and when he copied he got a space in front of the first letter of the email address. So when it pasted that space in the form it came back invalid. Took out the space, went right through. All it requires is the email, the zip code and member # of a life member. |

Is that the deal all the time? Maybe I can con someone into giving me the info so I can sign up next month. Not sure I'll get in this one before the end of the month. |

It's good to know where his donations go. I would expect that the charity would have been something along those lines, and I'm okay with that.

Is there an online link to upgrade? I cant find anything on www.nra.org
|
|
Please do this. This time they are saying NO to deals.
I hope it stands |

Give them a call. The mail is slow. You can upgrade for $300 and then tell them to make a note on your account not to cash the check. Then you can mail $300 to NRA-ILA. Then again, same difference. Whatever you want to do.
