There was a thread on this only yesterday.

The concensus was that once a filter is attatched it becomes a de facto part of the suppressor and must remain with the adapter. You can't just switch them out.

Like wipes, baffles, or anything else? Because those are swapped quite often.

Let's see... .22 sounds quiet no matter what. No noticeable difference.

The AK whatever, sounded the same as well.

You know what they both sound like? A waste of $275 and ammo.

That can't be good.

If you like your friend, I'd pull that pic, and tell your friend to run that over with a bulldozer,

For those of you that forgot:

The Adapter that connects the firearm and the oil filter is the part that is Restricted and Regulated.

Bad idea. Better read the site again, the oil filter has a serial number. Its implied that you can just replace the oil filter but I'm guessing thats a real no no. They are even selling the adapter alone to capture any oil while cleaning your gun.
I would stay away from this, real bad idea.

The site says the oil filter assumes the serial number of the adapter.  The adapter is the important part, you can run as many oil filters on it as you want.

Wait a second, they are also selling their "econo can" as some oil  capture device, therefor selling a suppressor without the paperwork? ATF is going to love that!

Have you ever shot a .22 pistol? If it requires ear plugs, I wouldn't consider it "quiet."

To me the oil filter "suppressor" and the regular suppressor sounded pretty close to the same.  What they should do since they had more than one P22 is keep alternating, one shot after the other.  Shoot the P22 with the oil filter "suppressor" then shoot the P22 with the regular suppressor.  And be sure to address what ammo they are using...

And this adapter is new to me, I hadn't seen it before.  Interesting for sure.  Would probably draw unwanted attention at a public range though, more so than a regular suppressor.

In the open without plugs - plenty of times. I consider it quiet. If you have any sort of surroundings nearby (trees, rock walls, etc.) the sound can be louder and I wear plugs for that. Given how open that vid was... I'd say it sounds about right.

Those don't block off the ports in the filter so if you did try to use them like the oil filter suppressor you'd just get a face full of gas and filter paper.

No you can't. Read the site again. They sell you the adapter with oil filter, both with same serial number. Its implied that you can change oil filters but you can't legally. Heres the site again.
Cadiz Gun Works

I understand this thread is a dupe, I just don't want to see my fellow Arfcommers get into any trouble. Just buy the real shit and avoid the mess this will take you to. I've read everything I could on suppressors cause I just took the plunge to buy my own. It seems like they found some magic way around the rules, and it may seem too good to be true. It is.

Do I still need a filter wrench to get it to seat 1/3 turn at the gasket?
