If this threads lasts long enough, somebody will go on about how the cops should have just tased him, tackled him, or OC'd him instead of shooting him. |

Seems like an appropriate use of force by police. |

Walking around school I can understand why the school called the cops. No hesitation. Without know if the LEO's spoke with him, he pointed the gun at them, etc., it is hard to criticize them for shooting him. |

Perhaps the silicon chip inside his head got switched to overload?

Quoted: The title is deliberately provocative15 y/o––––––-> 8th grade? The title should read 15 year old shot by police, it's still provocative but 8th grader seems a bit more so. |

Looks like some one learned a lesson and did not spent two hours securings the school before tacking action.

Not enough info to condone or condemn the shooting. Does not say whether he was threatening people, just showing it to other kids, or pointing it at the officers when they came in.
Need alot more info. |

Some 15 year olds are taller than I am. If the kid was armed and uncooperative, only the fringe types will argue about the legitimacy of the shooting |

Was 19 when I finished high school. Don't know guess we started school late. Also depends where your birthday falls. Good shoot if the kid was a threat. Well, kid with gun at school is threat but not a shoot him now threat. Must have done something to make the cops worried. Just don't understand how this could happen.... ? ? ..... Schools are "gun free" safe zones. |

In my school district you couldn't start school until you were six years old on September 1st. My birthday on September 12th meant that I didn't make the cut, so I started kindergarten at six, then promptly turned seven. In 8th grade, without being held back, I started at 14, then turned fifteen a few days later. That being said, I never brought a firearm to school, so I'm doubting the smart was actually with the kid who got shot. |

Can the gun be traced back to Holder and his ATF cronies?
In on one. |
