[ARCHIVED THREAD] - If I heard "sniper" one more time on War Games!!

I was going to puke my brains out!! Can you believe the army scene, if you where a bad guy spraying and praying but managed a hit you where a bad mofo "sniper". The show talked about the troops having to hike 20 miles through "sniper" infested forests!! Typical TV.

i also could do with out all the drama, the word "ambush" and i dont think at any point the 82nd wanted "payback" as was stated sevral times

Well, it's prime time TV and supposed to be "dramatic" (hence the term "melodramatic")

"The troops strolled through the open fields picking daisies" is not dramtic and doesn't make for interesting TV.

P.S. I'm not saying I approve, it bothered me too

turned it on right when the 82nd{I think it was them by a guys shoulder tab}secured a village and watched through the navy sub hunt and the fighter/bomber runs and had other stuff to do when the Marines were supposed to take out enemy snipers.Probaly stupid if it kept up with the shows theme though.
