Serious question: is this routinely done to any of the other inmates of this facility?

If you want to try him for treason and execute or imprison him, fine, but charge him first and give him due process.

Do we really want to give our government free reign to play sadistic little games with our military inmates?

He needs to be found guilty first.

Then the shit throwing can start.

He is a serviceman accused of a very serious crime, the system needs to work first.

Otherwise you guys are just passing judgements based on what someone has told you and what you have read in the oh-so un-bias news and the internet.

I'm not naive enough to think this doesn't go on in our brigs, but Manning is our most notorious, high-profile military inmate. If they would do these things to him, it shows a blatant lack of regard for due process in general.

Not exactly a quality I would want attributed to my government.
