[ARCHIVED THREAD] - So it begins... (Finished Dinner Pic) BBQ Chicken and Ribs (Update #3 in OP) Finished

It's my birthday, so I decided to get the gang together.
The gang.

This is to stuff up the cavity of the chicken.... That chicken has been in the bag over night.

Coal and some hardwood chips (I have been using alder a lot lately. I like it)

The set up.

I like to put the chips in a foil bag so they continue to smolder.

And GO!

To make it an "official" dinner pic thread...

More to come...
About an hour and a half into it... I just added another handful of coal and a few slices of bacon for a snack a little later...

Ok, were about three and a half hours in...

What incredible potential wasted - .....no knife? No fork? No napkin? Have you spent all that incredible effort and forgotten the basics?

Awesome dinner. I never knew you could get 21st Amendment Beer in cans. Will have to look for that.
