After waiting 2 months for this company to get awarded a contract I finally got a phone call explaining my start date and all the pre employment jazz.
I realized it really isn't a big deal, but this is my first position that is actually salaried over six figures. I have been over the mark for a while when including other sources of income, but that really doesn't count (in my mind). I know it's no big deal to make six figures especially the lower end of them, but given my age and background I think it's cool. ARFCOM, have a digital beer on me. |

100k don't go too far in places like Va or Dc or NYC. Or LA or Seattle.

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!! Now you can pay for my healthcare, wic card, etc.

Annoy a liberal. Succeed anyway.
Congratulations! It's a big milestone. Of course, now when you see the taxes, phase out of deductions, loss of child tax credit etc, you'll be wondering why you even bothered. But, millions on welfare thank you (well, they don't, but you know what I mean). |

Congrats!! ETA: Does this mean you'll become a team member now? Yes, as soon as I get my first pay check. I have been living off my saving since December. Also, I live in Ashburn, VA so it really isn't a big deal here either of the 8 Skyline GTRs sold in VA 6 are in this town. My buddy has one of them. Our county pays more in income tax than all other VA counties combined (or something like that) |

Congratulations!
Save your money, build a small fortune, annoy liberal whiners, live the American dream. |

Don't do Stupid crap like spending it all like many young men at your age. Save it and invest it and you may retire earlier than your friends that don't.

Welcome to the club.
Just wait til you do your taxes next year. |

I take home $5000.00 after taxes, 401k, health insurance, pre tax medical account, etc. Since I don't have any debt including mortage and my tax is only $500 (after ag-exemption), $5000.00 goes real long ways. We save about $1500 to $2000 a month. |

Congratulations on your new tax bracket!
And, as mentioned, no, $100k doesn't go very far at all in cAshburn. _MaH |

R32 as the VW or R32 as the Skyline? POST PICS! VW, it may not be as cool as the skyline, but it is the MKIV so it has a real gearbox. Not a whole lot of work done except custom exhaust, brake kit, weight reduction, and wheels/tires. |

Dude... I need a raise! Get me in, especially if it's in the Dulles area.

I created my first investment portfolio at 19 and have been doing pretty well so far. At my age you don't get to that level of income by being stupid. |

So, you're the "rich" person that gets all the tax breaks 0bama talks about?
'Grats, man! |
|
Good job, I needed health care thanks, broke and out of work.................

Congrats, don't see it as an opportunity to take on extreme amounts of debt.
