Besides Chili's

Went to Chilis last night for the first time ever. The food was decent but the Tortilla Chips were awesome. Very thin and light, most of the store bought brands are okay but the always seem to thick.

Any commercial brands close to Chillis type?

Screw the chips (I like On The Border better anyway, or a good blue corn chip) but their salsa is like crack!

Anyone know about their salsa???

El Milagro brand tortilla chips are close, I've found

Yep these.

However, for chips that obviously contain crack, there's not substitute for Julios!

Just looked 'em up...It lists products but I don't see how to order them.

I could be an idiot though.

Love those Chilis chips myself. And their salsa is about the best I've had.... except for what I make myself.

We just get Chilis chips to go. They sell 'em in a microwave reheatable bag, even.

Look heat up some oil, cut corn tortillas in quarters and drop in the oil. remove and season to your taste. In favt Just finished of some I just fried up. Better than any store bought chip and cheaper too.

If they sell them in your area.  Nuke-em for 20-30 seconds and dig in

for those that care: chilis salsa (damn close)

1/2 teaspoon salt

lightly chop jalapeos and onions first then add rest of stuff, food process a tad and chill for a few hours, damn good and damn close

Next time try their  Bacon Bigmouth burger, it is to die for.

Also the chips i think are oiled and then microwaved.

You can do Chili's to go, they will give you two full bags of chips and a bunch of salsa (since its supposed to be all you can eat)
