I see that other people have posted some suggestions, I don't see any changes.  

I'll admit I've only been here 3-4 times.  I park at the "real" site daily.  The screen is still too small, the font is WAY too small.  No one is posting here, yet the real site is very active.

Save your money and close this out.  I'll find out if this had any effect in 3-5 months when I come back again.

I thought I'd try a reply here to see if everything was working.
Does this mean the old board is dead or going to be dead?

Either way I didn't see any notice of a change, and I kept going to the old board, every time I'd go to General Discussions I'd get a blank page.
