check out any number of movies by Troma.  They've brought us legendary films such as Redneck Zombies, Wiseguys vs. Zombies, Zombie Island Massacre, Space Zombie Bingo, and Chopper Chicks in Zombietown (one of their better ones).

Don't forget Night of the Comet, Fido and Shawn of the Dead. These films are more comedy but are still real zombie movies with gore and they are pretty damn good too.

Catherine Mary Stewart is hot!

Dawn of the Dead remake and Resident Evil: Apocalypse are the only decent zombie movies I can think of.

If you're serious about zombies you need to play Resident Evil video games.
