Hey,
which book would you recommend for an almost beginner in IPSC?

Any "must-haves"?

Look for Brian Eno's book and site, there are a ton of USPSA/IPSC books.  Recommend that you take a class(es) from a good instructor.

Will go there and take a look.

I´ve heard about Brian Eno´s books.
They told me that those books are focused on the mental state, is that right?
And is it true, that those are "hard stuff" to read?

Could cause a problem for me, being not an English native speaker (and reader).
So I thought I´ll wait a little and try to become a better shooter first....

Thank you both for your response!

Saul Kirsch is excellent.  While his material is not new, it is excellent on thought process.

I also recommend the books/vids by Ben Stoeger, particularly if you are looking for dry and live fire routines to help you practice.  He also helps with how to break down stages, and shoot them.
