Title says it all. I'm looking for a good book to teach me about the basics of long range shooting (specifically bullet drop, hold overs, windage, scope adjustments, etc.) Any recommendations?

The Ultimate Sniper: An Advanced Training Manual for Military and Police Snipers

It is design for snipers. It has lot in there about guns, optics. shooting. trigger control. adjustments, mil dots, wind. There is alot in there about "sniper" training but it is still a good read a for a civilian who just wants to learn about shooting.

After you advance. I suggest Applied Ballistics by Byran Litz. if you dont have a good understaning of shooting your gun scope and basic ballistics then you will probaly be lost in this book.
