Hey guys I don't know if this has been posted already but it appears that Travis Haley has a training DVD coming out. I'll be scooping this one up for sure . It's produced by a new company called Panteao Productions. They also have streaming vids from other instructors including Mas. Here's the link:

So it looks like it's just him in the dvd.

Might have to check it out.

Sometimes you have to look for the irony, and sometimes it runs at you, head-butts you, kicks you in the balls, then bends you over and makes you its bitch.

The video is just Travis and in a format that is a departure from the Magpul Dynamics videos. The Make Ready video has Travis addressing the viewer at home in a one-on-one setting.

So what's the big difference between this video and the ones he did with magpul? The commercial looks like it is a lot of the same stuff. Anybody watched it yet?

The format of the video is different. Travis is not teaching a class but instead teaching you the viewer. The content he reviews is based on what he is teaching today which has evolved since the release of the Magpul video.

I just watched this DVD and found it very good. I like the one on one style instruction. It's as if you are watching a Magpul video without having to watch the students do the drills after Travis or Costa. Travis is showing alot of the same drills as shown in the Magpul AOTTC 1&2, but more in depth with & more explanation. I personally liked a scene where he shows shot patterns at different zero's from 25 yards out to 400 yards. Also the final drill was cool to see that even a guy as skilled as he is has a failure point. I would recommend it to people who enjoyed the Magpul DVD's to learn from & not just cause the stuff they do looks "cool".

The only thing I didn't like about the DVD was the price. This DVD should have been $29.99. After spending $50 on Magpul DVD's, you are getting 9 hours or more of instruction. Spending $50 on this kinda blows because it's only 2 hours long. Then again I'm an LEO so if I learn one thing from watching this or any video & it saves my life one day, $50 bucks is nothing....

As usual Travis does not disappoint. He has just as much or more determination to get you to think, shoot & survive. I hope that I can attend one if his classes in the future, if he has one up here on the east coast (PA or close to).

Pretty much everything you said was spot on. I really enjoyed the shot patterns part, because it really gives you a visual representation, which is much easier to comprehend. He also goes very in depth explaining why he does things the way he does it, something that is slightly left out on the Magpul videos.

+1 on the DVD.

Just FYI, on that Panteao site, you can subscribe and watch the videos online. Only costs $18 a month for unlimited access. If you had a bunch of free time, you could watch all the videos for only $18.

Just might have to do this.......

i finally got the month online memebership on Sunday. I have watches all the paul howe & the haley videos. They are really good, I like the way haley instructs and he really has a great way of getting you motivated and wanting to learn. I am just starting to watch the bill rogers video, i read a book by howard wasden, a retired DEV GRU operator and he mentioned rogers school by name in his book as a good shooting school. So far i really like the videos i have seen, i am a cheap ass so i hope i can watch all the videos i want in 30 days!!lol
