Paul Howe is a high-risk training instructor for Law Enforcement and Government Security who has evolved from the ranks.  Beginning with a brief LE career in the late 1970’s, he served for 20 years in the U.S. Army, ten of those in Special Operations. Paul moved through the ranks and served as a Tactical Team Leader and Senior Instructor while assigned to Army Special Operations. During his tour in special operations he was involved in several combat actions. One of the most notable was the battle of Mogadishu that was later portrayed in the motion picture Black Hawk Down. Upon retirement, Paul started CSAT-Combat Shooting and Tactics in 2000 as a top tier leadership and training company.

This class focuses on the tactical employment of the sidearm. The class will focus on the following:

•Safety

•A stair-stepped shooting program that covers all the basic skills needed for surgical shooting.

•Discrimination

•The use of cover

•Transition drills

•Realistic time and accuracy standards will be used as a training standard and goal.

•Individual shooting plans will be developed and used.

•Shooting "work out” plans for future individual development will be taught.

Tactical gear or Concealed Carry rig to include pistol, holster, rifle, magazines, eye and ear protection.  Bring water and inclement weather gear.  CD'S of information will be provided.  Also, bring weapon cleaning equipment.  400 rifle and 400 pistol rounds.
