Pistol Fundamentals is a one-day pistol course that will challenge developing and advanced shooters alike, redefining
their standards for accuracy and speed. Instructors will help students break down the fundamentals
of shooting and gun-handling in a logical and personalized way that most shooters have never
experienced before. Students will learn how to increase their speed by improving the efficiency of
their movement. Students will be challenged to push the limits of their pistol shooting to 50 yards
and beyond.
This eight hour, shooting-intensive course covers:-Stance (why it’s important even though you will likely be moving in a gunfight)
-Grip (the science behind a proper grip, and how to maximize your ability to manage recoil)
-Sight alignment & Sight picture
-Trigger press (correcting bad trigger habits, shooting with pad of finger vs. first knuckle, etc)
-Follow Through (the fundamental often neglected or missed by instructors)
-Proper malfunction clearance (something we see IPSC shooters constantly struggling with)
-Reloads
-Diagnosing shooter errors and how to correct them
-How to shoot faster, shot cadence and timing
-How to increase your speed through economy of motion
-Accuracy at 25 yards and beyond.
-How to dryfire and continue your own training from here
