3 Day Fighting Pistol Immersion Course

This 3-Day Immersion Special Event takes the student through Levels 2 and 3 of our Advanced Defense Handgun curriculum in an extended format allowing for more repetition of drills. This class is offered 2-3 times per year at Okeechobee Shooting Sports. Space is limited to 10 students.

This pistol course is focused on modern defensive shooting, handgun familiarization, and safe weapons handling techniques. Progressing through the class the student will build a “fight ready” mind set. This class is primarily an on-range class with students running multiple live fire drills to practice the skills taught. The class is designed to teach advanced drills for the serious shooter. Covers the use of cover and types of cover, standing, kneeling, prone positions, dynamic shooting, multiple target engagement, malfunction drills, reloading techniques, stress fire, sub-conscious sight picture, and one-handed shooting and manipulation.

This class is a truly dynamic class focusing on “fight to the finish” defensive shooting, and is designed to teach close quarter shooting, low-light shooting, advanced one handed techniques, off handed techniques, moving, shoot / no shoot scenarios, one handed malfunction drills, stress fire, low light / no light close quarter shooting.

Ammunition Required: 1200 rounds
Additional Equipment: Baseball cap, food, drinks, elbow and knee pads, along with clothing that will allow for work on the ground (no open top shoes or v neck tops).

Instructors Are;
Will Farrugia: Is the lead instructor of FFT and has been a certified professional firearms and tactics instructor for over 25 years. Teaching military, law enforcement, security contractor and civilian classes across the globe. In addition to being a small arms instructor and competitor, Will has also worked as a military security contractor and executive protection agent, (including U.S. Congressman and international dignitaries) on 3 continents.

Stevan Hollahan-Blanda: Served six years in the US Army (101st airborne) as an Infantry squad leader and sniper. Completed multiple combat tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. World record setter for the longest confirmed hit with Javelin missile. Now teaches firearms and tactics use, precision rifle and force on force training to civilians, security contractors as well as local and federal law enforcement agencies.

Steve B. Senior Instructor
British Royal Marines Commando Warrant Officer (22 years) serving with The UK’s Elite “Special Boat Squadron”, (18 Years). Served as squadron Sergeant Major of 3 SBS squadrons. Served as Small arms Training Coordinator in SBS. Throughout his career Steve B. has experienced, trained and operated in a number of theatres around the world.

Jason D: Senior Instructor Jason gained actual real world experience from multiple combat deployments with the United States Marine Corps and also while working as a Security Contractor in the middle east, providing mobile security for U.S State Department Officials in hostile environments. Jason has also attended multiple government and civilian Instructor courses such as Foreign Weapons Instructor Course; Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor Course; Military Operations Urban Terrain Instructor Course; NRA Pistol Instructor Course, RSO course etc.
