This class is designed to introduce the new shooter to tactical precision rifle competitions. This class will be mostly spent on practical skills on the range, with 2.5 hours of classroom.

Data collection: we will document and verify rifle data with chronograph, and run ballistic programs for your platform.

TOPICS:
Competition safety/etiquette, MILS vs. MOA, Gear selection, Rifle set up, Data collection, Fundamentals of marksmanship

SKILLS:
*Fundamentals of marksmanship: natural point of aim, sight pic/sight alignment,
trigger control natural respiratory pause, and dry fire exercise.
*Steel targets will be engaged from 200-725 yards.
*Common competition scenarios- barricades, transition, gear management
Required Equipment:
*Rifle capable of 1MOA accuracy
*Optic with externally adjustable turrets
*Bipod and rear bag
*+100 rounds of match grade ammo (BRING EXTRA)
*Clothing appropriate for season
*Food (water will be provided)
*Ballistic program: we suggest “BALLISTIC” application.
