Fishbowl Sportsmans Club (Between Siren and Webster on STH 35.)

Pistol 1 is a 1-day course designed for people with little to no formal experience in handling the pistol. Meant as a fundamentals course, both in skills and mindsets, it is a course that will include safety, grip, sighting, trigger manipulation, stance, loading, and unloading, and use of the holster. We will be using techniques and tactics that are time and incident proven, and can be used as a platform for home and self defense, CCW, competition, and other recreational uses. Pistol, holster and sturdy belt, ear and eye protection, and 250 rounds will be needed. A list of additional useful gear will be emailed to registrants.

Students who also need the basic instruction for the WI CCW license can use this course if they also make arrangements for an additional 2-hour instruction block before this course to cover the legal aspects required. That cost is $40.

Pistols chambered in .22 Long Rifle (If you can find any ammunition!) such as the Ruger Mk II series are welcome with a safe holster.
